  1. Damn you got it right at 52 week low! Are you concern the board could cut the dividend next week when they release earnings?

    1. CD,

Definitely a little concerned about that, but like the value at these prices levels so it's all good.

    1. Anonymous,

Hope you get your entry price! Ten dollar drive since the beginning of the year is pretty significant for sure.

  3. MDP,

Nice work! You sure aren't wasting time get back into the swing of things. I recently began building a position in GE when the stock fell below $25. I'd be willing to put put another grand or two into the position, however, I waiting to see if there is any changes in the dividend when the earnings come out this month.

On another note, I just initiated a position in CPB yesterday before it went ex-div. Current valuation is fair IMO and is currently yielding 3%. If you have moment, jump over to my blog and let me know what you think. With many of the consumer staples seeing their valuations shrink, I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing some M&A activity within the sector.

    Best of Luck!

    1. PIV,

Great job with CPB! I have been watching it as well along with GIS and MDT! I've also been glancing at TEVA in the $14 range, but have steered clear so far. I'll check out the blog!

  5. No guts no glory. I like the buy. There are many unloved stocks out there these days. GE, HRL, GIS, HCP. The GE yield sure looks compelling. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I also like the list of companies you mentioned. T and MDT are on my radar as well.
